Wiltshire Public Notices: Liquor Licenses and Road Closures

Woodago Eco Solutions Limited is applying for permission to sell alcohol at Woody’s Deli in Corsham.

They also want permission to consume alcohol daily on site.

Lyntonfox Limited has also applied for a premises license for Office 1, Unit 1, The Millennium Building, The Dairy Farm, Pinkney Park, Malmesbury, to allow the sale of alcohol online Monday to Friday, 11am to 5.30pm and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. .

Speed ​​limits

Wiltshire Council wants to introduce a 40mph speed limit on B4643 Melksham Road, Chippenham – from a point 35m south of its junction with A4 Rowden Hill to its junction with B4528; B4528 Showell, Chippenham and Lacock – from its junction with B4643 Melksham Road to its junction with A350.

Any person aggrieved by the Orders and wishing to challenge the validity of the Orders or any provision contained in the Orders on the ground that it falls outside the powers of the relevant section of the aforementioned law or on the ground that any requirement of this section or Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act or any regulations made thereunder, has not been complied with with respect to the orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the orders have been made, apply for the purposes to the High Court. The ordinances will come into effect on August 15.

Closed roads

Wiltshire Council has ordered the temporary closure to all traffic of: A) Footpath 4 (Part), Lyneham and Bradenstoke; from its junction with Pound Close to its junction with Footpath 1, Lyneham and Bradenstoke. B) Trail 5, Lyneham and Bradenstoke; from its junction with Footpath 1, Lyneham and Bradenstoke to its junction with Footpath 4, Lyneham and Bradenstoke to allow the construction of 50 residential units. Alternate route via existing alternate highways and rights-of-way. It will be from August 15 and the closure will be required for six months

Trail 13 (Part) Latton; from its junction with Trail 3, Latton, to its junction with Bridleway 13, Latton to allow for the replacement of the culvert under the churning of the river, associated river bank and bed works and the adjacent siphon.

Alternative route via existing alternative rights-of-way. This closure, which follows an emergency notice, will take effect on August 15 and the closure will be required for seven weeks.

Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works
