Watching Tom Brady’s first practice with Bucs sucks for NE fans
Tom Brady’s first practice with the Buccaneers wasn’t fun for Patriots fans.
New England Patriots legend Tom Brady has left the franchise in free agency more than four months ago, and football fans have been eagerly awaiting his first official training session with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And no, we’re not talking about the fuzzy clips that surfaced on social media from private training sessions with his new teammates.
Coronavirus pandemic has prompted NFL to delay off-season practice, and teams have just started show up for training camp this week accordingly. With that came the end of the long wait for footage of Brady in action with Tampa Bay.
Do not look, Patriots Fans. It won’t be easy to see your man with a new team after 20 years.
Oh no!! It cannot be real. We know the Patriots have Cam Newton and life isn’t a complete disaster just yet, but how could we TB12 leave us like this? And he’s having fun? Disgusting.
Now he’s got some shiny new toys in Mike Evans and Chris Godwin as well as a familiar face in Rob Gronkowski. Oh man, we almost forgot that Gronk left us for Florida too. It stinks. How are we going to deal with watching the highlights of these two playing for a different team?
We need Super Cam and Co. to make us forget that, and fast. It certainly won’t help that the Pats already have the most withdrawals in the NFL at this point with six players deciding not to participate in the 2020 season.
Looks like it’s time for Pats fans to set up their social media filters to block all Brady (and Gronk) content in the coming weeks, with training camp about to be in full swing. Fans can’t be distracted by things like his – there are already a lot of things the team needs to worry about.
