TOWN CENTRE: An application has been made to the Swindon Competent Authority for the grant of a premises license by J&J Foods Ltd in respect of 75 Bridge Street.
The request covers the following activities and hours subject to licensing: Sale of alcohol to be consumed on site and to be taken away every day from 10 am to midnight.

HIGHWORTH: Notice is hereby given that under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 council proposes to make a one way traffic and driving prohibition order 2022 for the purposes administrative.
This order will extend one way and no driving except restricted access on Vicarage Lane to Sheep Street at its junction with Market Place in Highworth as indicated by signs.

WANBOROUGH: A planning application (reference S/HOU/22/0681JP) for Green Willows, on High Street suggests the construction of a garage and carport – this is an amendment to the previous approval (S/HOU/18/0707).
HIGHWORTH: An application (reference S/RES/22/0798TB) for the first phase of Redlands Park on Swindon Road includes details of matters reserved from previous permission (S/OUT/17/1340) for the construction of 67 dwellings and associated works without fulfilling conditions one (Approved Plans) and two (Tree Method Statement) of the previous authorization (S/RES/19/1371 (as amended in description in accordance with S/AMEND/22 /0707)).
BLUNSDON: An application (reference S/RES/22/0702TB) for land at Hill Cottage on Blunsdon Hill details the matters reserved for the construction of 90 dwellings, including leisure space, landscaping, roads and drainage infrastructure.
This follows on from previous prior clearance (S/OUT/17/1032) but without meeting conditions one (approved designs) and three (electric car charging points) of previous clearance S/RES/19/1773 (as per amendment of description per S/AMEND/22/0548).
HIGHWORTH: There are plans (reference S/22/0752EDSN) to restore the Swindon floodplain and create a mosaic of wetlands and ponds on Fresden Field, with land to the east of Fresden Barn which is part of the estate of Coleshill.

LYDIARD MILLICENT: Lydiard Green will be closed to traffic from its junction with The Butts to its junction with Bagbury Lane to allow Openreach safe access to the full wiring works from several JRCs.
Alternative route: via Lydiard Green (length not affected) – Church Place – C34 – C414 and Lydiard Green (length not affected) and vice versa.
This order will come into force on June 15, 2022 and the closure will be mandatory between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. for two days.

CRICKLADE: Chelworth Road will be closed to traffic from outside the property known as Upper Broad Leaze Farm for a distance of approximately 150m in a south-westerly direction to allow Thames Water to carry out the repair service lines.
Alternative route via Chelworth Road (length not affected) – C70 – B4040 – B4553 – The Forty -Chelworth Road (length not affected) and vice versa.
