From the driver’s seat
Chase Briscoe: “I had a lot of fun and had a really good Tex a con / Huffy Ford. It really felt like we were really good at the start of the race and were able to get through the peloton pretty quickly. As the track went further we just weren’t as good as the top 3. It was cool to put the guys from Roper Racing in the top 5 on our first start they did. a great job of preparing a fast truck from the start. Hope we can do it again soon. ”
From the Pit Box
Shane Whitbeck: “We had to come back to the rear after the qualifying races were rainy. Chase did a great job of handling the traffic and changing track conditions to get to the front. We fought forward most of the day. We seemed to lose the march before we had to practice. We stabilized once we hit 4e place and stayed there the rest of the race. Another great day of points which brings us back to the top 20. Many thanks to Tex a Con, Huffy and Carquest for making this possible.
