Julian Edelman comments on Patriots split from Tom Brady
Tom Brady’s favorite target comments on quarterback leaving New England for Tampa Bay
Deep in our hearts we just couldn’t get the idea of the quarterback Tom brady playing for any team other than the New England Patriots. But, as his career drew to a close and the desire for a lucrative contract, Brady left the Patriots and signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This means that football fans will no longer see Brady wearing the signature blue and red, but replacing the uniform with threads of tin and red.
Brady was a wide receiver Julian Edelmanquarterback since being drafted in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL Draft. Edelman says that while he loves Brady, the Patriots just need to move on.
Edelman will have a new caller targeting him in 2020
NFL fans shouldn’t be surprised by these comments. It’s the prototypical “Patriot Way” style of speaking with the media that head coach Bill Belichick has anchored in all of his players.
Once Brady signed with the Buccaneers, the Patriots followed their ‘next man’ mantra and spoke Jarrett stidham as their 2020 starter. Even though no one bought it, we all fell in love once New England failed to select a single passer in the entire NFL Draft. Just when we bought, the Patriots stepped out of the shadows and signed the former Carolina Panthers quarterback and NFL MVP, Cam Newton.
Going from Brady to Newton is a pretty good transition for a broad like Edelman. But it all depends on Newton’s health, as he just had shoulder and foot surgeries in the past calendar year. If he’s healthy, he’s an absolute threat in the air and on the ground.
As much as Edelman will miss “VG12”, he also knows that everyone has to move on. In Belichick’s immortal words, “We are on Cam Newton.”
