Hammers boss David Moyes is keen to bring the 28-year-old center-back to the stadium in London.
West Ham could face a problem, however – Burnley’s asking price for Tarkowski.
The Clarets are said to want around £ 20million for the defender in January.
Considering he’ll be out of contract at Turf Moor this summer, there’s no way the Hammers will pay anything like that.
West Ham would be more likely to try to sign him for a free transfer in seven months.
Tarkowski wants West Ham transfer in January, but unlikely

I wonder why he now wants to join us when he didn’t last year ?! In all fairness, we should just move on from Tarkowski and we certainly shouldn’t be spending £ 20million on him in January.
The Hammers are now on a whole different level and we could, and probably should, do a lot better than Burnley’s man.
It may just be whether or not we can get better value for money in January.
