A photograph of a site visitors jam on a road stuffed with rubbish has been shared hundreds of occasions on Fb with the declare that it reveals a scene from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, a province in northwest Pakistan on the border with the ‘Afghanistan. The assertion is fake; the photograph was really taken in Lucknow, the capital of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

Nonetheless, the declare is fake.
An AFP correspondent in New Delhi recognized the textual content on the blue van within the photograph as studying “Uttar Pradesh Police” in Hindi.
Uttar Pradesh is a state of India and Hindi is an official language of India, not Pakistan.
The identical reporter acknowledged the road within the photograph as being from his hometown of Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. He stated the street was Hussainabad Highway close to Unity Faculty.
Native journalist Syed Abdul took a photograph of the road, which he confirmed to be Hussainabad Highway.
