Insider claims West Ham United are ready to sell Michail Antonio and Arthur Masuaku
According to a report by Claret and Hugh, West Ham United could be open to sell both Michail Antonio and Arthur Masuaku this summer.
Hammers boss David Moyes will be desperate to bolster his ranks at London Stadium this summer.
However, the Scotsman may well want to supplement his summer transfer budget by shipping some of the deadwood.
The likes of Manuel Lanzini, Felipe Anderson, Andriy Yarmolenko and Fabian Balbuena all face an uncertain future in east London.
West Ham may also be looking to sell Michail Antonio and Arthur Masuaku
It depends Claret and Hugh who say the Hammers hierarchy is concerned with the duo’s injury history.
Hammers News thinks it would be a completely absurd decision, however.
Moving on dead wood is good. But to sell two of our main players would be total madness.
Even if West Ham signs two forwards this summer, we have to keep Michy. Having three center-forward should be a matter of course for a Premier League club.
The same goes for our left-back position. If we were to sell Arthur, Moyes would then have to sign two left-backs. It makes absolutely no sense.
Surely West Ham owners shouldn’t consider selling Antonio or Masuaku unless a ridiculous offer comes up.
This summer will be vital for the Hammers.
And selling Michy or King Arthur would be a complete step backwards.
