Arsenal reportedly made Emi Buendia’s first move, will West Ham respond?
Arsenal have reportedly taken the first step to sign Emi Buendia and West Ham must now decide whether to act or not.
However, it appears that Arsenal have taken the first step.
FoOtball journalist Pedro Almeida said the Gunners have made an offer of 23million euros (£ 20million) for Bunedia. Norwich is said to be holding at least € 30million (£ 25million), however:
Now, signing another winger or an attentive midfielder will be well below David Moyes’ priority list this summer.
If the Hammers are missing out on Jesse Lingard, Buendia would be the perfect alternative.
Arsenal and West Ham chase brilliant Buendia
The 24-year-old has been in truly sensational form for Norwich this season.
He has accumulated 15 goals and 17 assists in 39 league games for the Canaries (Transfermarkt).
These are really brilliant numbers no matter which league you play in.
Buendia can play anywhere on the front row. He has a lightning pace, exceptional technical skills and is clinical in front of goal.
The 24-year-old also has a keen eye for a deadly pass and plays with a certain tenacity that makes him perfectly suited for the Premier League.
Buendia would be a sensational signing for either West Ham or Arsenal.
It appears, however, that the Gunners have taken the first step for the Norwich ace.
The hammers must now decide whether to make a counter offer or not.
We think it’s something David Moyes should be everywhere. And if there’s a chance to get it to London Stadium, we can’t afford to let it go.
